How to cancel

Pick whichever way suits you. You do not have to give a reason, and there are no other steps.

On your account page

1. Sign in on your account page.
2. Under Cancel your subscription, press Cancel my subscription, then Yes, cancel it.
3. The page confirms your cancellation and the date your subscription ends. We also send you that by email.

In your Link account

Stripe sells Squad Butler through Link, and Link manages your subscription.

1. Go to link.com and sign in with the email address you paid with. If you paid without a Link account, Link asks you to make one with that address.
2. Find your Squad Butler subscription.
3. Cancel it there. Link stops the renewal and confirms it to you. Stripe lets us know too, and we email you the date your subscription ends. For a yearly plan that has already renewed, you get the unused months back, as explained below.

By email

1. Email support@squadbutler.com from the address on your account, or tell us the email address you paid with.
2. Write that you want to cancel. That is enough.
3. We confirm by email, with the date your subscription ends. Your cancellation counts from the moment your email reaches us.

Cancelling stops future payments. It does not delete your account. To have your account deleted, see Privacy.

What happens after you cancel

• Monthly plan. It keeps working to the end of the month you paid for, and you are not charged again. You do not get money back for that month, unless you are still within the 14 days after buying. If a payment is still taken after you cancelled, we refund it in full within 14 days.
• Yearly plan, in its first 12 months. It keeps working to the end of the 12 months and does not renew. After the first 14 days, the first year is not refunded.
• Yearly plan, after it has renewed. You can stop at any time with at most one month's notice. Plan months count from the day your plan renewed. Your subscription runs to the end of the plan month you are in, and you get back one twelfth of what you paid for that year for every whole month after that. We refund it to the payment method you used, within 14 days of your cancellation. This is the same whichever way you cancel: on your account page, at link.com or by email.

Changing your mind within 14 days

You can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days, without giving a reason. You get all your money back, with nothing taken off for the days you already used Squad Butler.

The 14 days count from the day after you buy: if you buy on 1 May, you can withdraw up to and including 15 May. It is enough to send your withdrawal before the 14 days are over. A renewal does not start a new 14 days.

How to withdraw

• Online. Go to Withdraw from a purchase. Fill in your name, the email address you paid with, the order reference if you have it, and where we should send the confirmation. Then press Confirm withdrawal. You do not need to sign in. You see a confirmation straight away, with the date and time and the text of your withdrawal, and we email it to you as well.
• By email. Send a clear statement that you withdraw to support@squadbutler.com. You may use the model form below, but you do not have to. We confirm by email that we received it.
• Through Link. You can also ask Link, which sold you the subscription, through your Link account at link.com.

What happens next

• We refund everything you paid within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, to the payment method you used. The refund costs you nothing.
• Your subscription ends and your licence key stops working. You are not charged again.
• Your account stays, unless you ask us to delete it.

Model withdrawal form

You may use this form, but you do not have to. Fill it in and email it to support@squadbutler.com. For the service, write "Squad Butler subscription" and your plan.

You can also print it and send it by post to the address in it.

Other refunds

Outside the 14 days, you also get money back when:

• Squad Butler does not work as promised and we cannot put it right within a reasonable time. That is your legal guarantee, see Terms;
• we make a big change to the service that is worse for you, and you end your subscription because of it;
• you do not accept a change to our terms and cancel before it applies: you get back the months after that date;
• Squad Butler is not made for the next EA SPORTS FC game, or stops working for good: you get the unused months back;
• we end your subscription by mistake.

Apart from these cases, the 14 days and a yearly plan after it has renewed, time you already paid for is not refunded when you cancel.

How refunds are paid

Link, part of Stripe, takes your payments and pays refunds out, as the seller of record. A refund goes back to the payment method you paid with and shows on your statement from LINK.COM*. Your bank or card company may take a few working days to show it.

Link can also refund you under its own buyer terms, at link.com/terms, for example when you ask Link's support. That never takes away the rights on this page.

A refund ends your subscription. When you get all your money back, from us or from Link, your licence key stops working and you are not charged again. When you get the unused months of a yearly plan back, your subscription ends on the date we confirmed to you.
