Terms of use

Last changed on 13 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and us about Squad Butler: the browser add-on for the EA SPORTS FC 27 web app, the subscription that unlocks it, and the free tools on this site.

The short version

  • A subscription costs €7.49 a month or €59.88 a year, VAT included. It renews by itself until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time. Within 14 days of buying you can change your mind and get all your money back.
  • Link, part of Stripe, sells you the subscription and takes the payment. We make the add-on and help you with it.
  • EA does not allow tools like this. Using Squad Butler can get your transfer market blocked or your EA account banned. Only use it if you accept that risk.
  • The SBC solutions and player prices on this site are free and need no account.

Who we are

Squad Butler is run by the owner of squadbutler.com, the Netherlands. In these terms "we" and "us" means that business, and "you" means you, the person using Squad Butler.

  • Email: support@squadbutler.com
  • Phone:
  • KvK number (Dutch Chamber of Commerce):
  • VAT number:

Squad Butler is an independent tool. It is not made, endorsed or approved by Electronic Arts.

Who you deal with

  • We make and provide the add-on and the service behind it: the licence check, updates, the account page and support. These terms are about that service.
  • Link ("Sold through Link, LLC"), a company of the Stripe group, sells you the subscription as the merchant of record. Link takes your payment, charges the VAT, sends your receipts and shows on your bank statement as LINK.COM*. Link's own buyer terms, at link.com/terms, apply to the payment.

For anything about the add-on, such as how it works, a problem or a complaint, you contact us. About a payment you can contact us or Link.

What you get

A subscription unlocks the Squad Butler add-on in your browser. It works inside EA's FC 27 web app, and it:

  • solves SBCs inside the web app and submits them;
  • buys cheap fodder by rating or quality;
  • completes FUT Gallery sets and sells the cards back;
  • sells your transfer list just under the cheapest price;
  • gets every new feature, installed by your browser automatically.

The home page shows what each tool does. What you need:

  • FirefoxFirefox or Chrome on a Windows, macOS or Linux computer.
  • EA SPORTS FC 27 Ultimate Team with the web app transfer market unlocked. EA keeps it locked on new accounts and can lock it at any time.
  • An internet connection: the add-on checks your licence with squadbutler.com about twice a day.
  • One key runs on one computer at a time. You can move it to another computer up to 4 times in 30 days.
  • One key runs in one browser on one computer at a time. You can move it to another computer or browser up to 4 times in 30 days.

Your licence key works while your subscription is active. When the subscription ends, the add-on stops working at its next licence check.

The add-on works with your own EA session and your own coins. It only buys, sells or hands in what your settings allow. By default it asks you before it buys or sells anything, and it fills a squad without handing it in. Check your settings, such as the maximum price, before you let it act for you.

Prices and payment

  • Monthly: €7.49 a month.
  • Yearly: €59.88 a year, paid at once. That is €4.99 a month, 33% less than monthly.

Prices are in euros and include VAT. There are no other costs. You pay at Stripe's checkout, by card or with one of the other methods Stripe offers there, such as Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link. If you live outside the euro area, Stripe may show the price converted into your own currency.

How buying works

  1. Choose a plan under Plans and prices.
  2. Sign in on your account page, or make an account.
  3. Press the button for your plan. You go to Stripe's checkout page, where Link sells you the subscription.
  4. Check the plan, the price and your details, choose how to pay, and press the pay button. Only that button places the order, and it means you have to pay.
  5. Your subscription switches on by itself and your licence key starts working. Install the add-on in your browser from your account page.

Fixing mistakes. Nothing is charged until you press the pay button on Stripe's page. Before that you can go back with your browser's back button and choose another plan, and on Stripe's page you can check and correct your details. If you notice a mistake after paying, email us, or withdraw within 14 days (see below).

Your record of the contract. Your plan, the date it runs until and your licence key are kept in your account, where you can see them on your account page at any time. Link emails you a receipt for every payment. We also email you an order confirmation to keep. It sets out the main points of the contract in the email itself: your plan and the price, how renewal and cancelling work, the 14 days to withdraw with the model withdrawal form, the legal guarantee, how to complain, and who we are. We do not keep a separate copy of the contract for each customer, so save or print these terms when you buy; the date at the top shows which version applies. If you need an earlier version, ask us and we send it.

Language. The contract and these terms are only offered in English.

Code of conduct. We have not signed up to any code of conduct.

Renewal and cancelling

A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and no reason is asked.

  • Monthly: the shortest term is one month, and it renews every month. When you cancel, it runs to the end of the month you paid for and you are not charged again. You do not get money back for the month that is running, except within the first 14 days.
  • Yearly: the first term is 12 months. If you cancel in the first year, it runs to the end of those 12 months and does not renew. After it has renewed, you can stop it at any time with at most one month's notice, and you get back the months you paid for after that. You get a reminder by email before a yearly plan renews.

You can cancel in three ways:

  • on your account page, with the button Cancel my subscription;
  • in your Link account at link.com, where Link manages the subscription for Stripe;
  • by email to support@squadbutler.com.

The same rules apply whichever way you cancel. We confirm your cancellation by email, with the date your subscription ends; when you cancel at link.com, Link confirms it to you as well. If a payment is still taken after you cancelled, we refund it in full within 14 days. Refunds and cancelling explains every step and has a worked example.

14 days to change your mind

You can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, without giving a reason. The 14 days count from the day after you buy: if you buy on 1 May, you can withdraw up to and including 15 May. A renewal does not start a new 14 days. You get back everything you paid, with nothing taken off for the days you already used Squad Butler.

To withdraw, use the page Withdraw from a purchase, email us, or ask Link. We refund you within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, to the payment method you used. Your licence key then stops working and the subscription ends. Refunds and cancelling has the steps and the model withdrawal form.

The risk with EA

EA's terms do not allow tools that automate the web app, and Squad Butler is such a tool. EA can block your transfer market, take away coins or items, or suspend or ban your EA account for using one. We cannot stop EA from doing that, and we cannot undo it. Only use Squad Butler if you accept this risk.

EA can also change the web app at any time. That can stop the add-on from working until we have updated it. We work on such updates as fast as we reasonably can.

The free tools

The SBC solutions, player prices and price history on this site are free and need no account. The prices come from public market data and can be out of date or wrong, and a solution can stop working when prices or the challenge change. We do not promise that the free tools are always available or correct. Check a price in the game before you buy.

Your account

  • Accounts are for people aged 16 or older.
  • An account is for one person. Use your own email address and keep it up to date, because that is where we write to you.
  • Keep your password to yourself. If you think someone else uses your account, change your password and tell us.
  • Your licence key is for you only.

You may not:

  • share, sell, rent out or give away your licence key or your account;
  • attack the site or the server, try to get into accounts that are not yours, or overload the site with requests;
  • copy the site's prices, solutions or other content with automated tools (scraping), or get around the limits the server sets;
  • get around the licence check of the add-on.

Our liability

If we are liable to you for damage, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for Squad Butler in the 12 months before the damage happened.

This limit does not apply to damage we cause on purpose or through gross negligence. It also never takes away or limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law, such as the legal guarantee below.

The legal guarantee

You have the legal right to a service that matches the contract. This comes from Dutch law: Book 7, Title 1aa of the Dutch Civil Code (articles 7:50aa to 7:50ap), on digital content and digital services. The add-on and the service have to work as these terms and the home page describe, for as long as your subscription runs.

If something does not work as promised, email us. We put it right free of charge within a reasonable time. If we cannot or do not, if the fault comes back after we tried to fix it, or if the fault is so serious that you cannot be expected to wait, you can ask for a lower price for the time it did not work, or end your subscription and get back what you paid for that time and for the time you no longer get.

When we may end your subscription

We may only pause or end your subscription or your account for one of these reasons:

  • a payment is not made, or is reversed through your bank, and is not settled after we asked you to;
  • you share, sell or give away your licence key or your account;
  • you abuse the site or the service in one of the ways listed under Your account.

We first tell you by email what is wrong and give you a reasonable time to put it right, unless the abuse is serious, such as an attack on the site. When we end a subscription for one of these reasons, the licence key stops working. If we end it by mistake, we switch it back on or give you back the money for the time you lost.

Changes to the service and the price

The service. We keep improving Squad Butler, and your browser installs updates by itself. Sometimes a change is needed because EA changed the web app. If we make a big change that is worse for you, for example because one of the main tools is removed, we tell you by email first. You can then end your subscription free of charge within 30 days of the change, and you get back the months you paid for and will not use.

The price. We can change the price of a subscription. We tell you by email at least 30 days before a new price applies to you, and a new price never applies in the first 3 months after you buy. It only starts at your next renewal after that notice. If you do not want to pay the new price, cancel before it applies.

The next EA FC game

When EA releases the next EA SPORTS FC game, your subscription carries over to the add-on for that game once it is ready. If Squad Butler is not made for the next game, or stops working for good, you get the unused months back.

Complaints

Not happy with something? Email support@squadbutler.com with what went wrong and the email address of your account. You get an answer within 14 days. If we need more time, we tell you within those 14 days when you can expect a full answer.

If we cannot solve it together, you can take the dispute to court (see Law and courts).

Privacy

What we keep about you, why and for how long is on the Privacy page. What the site stores in your browser is on the Cookies page.

Law and courts

Dutch law applies to these terms and to your subscription. If you live in another country, you keep the protection that the mandatory rules of your own country's law give you as a consumer.

A dispute goes to the court that the law says is competent. We do not make you go to another court or to arbitration. If you live in the EU, that normally means you can go to the court where you live.

Saving and changing these terms

Use your browser's print button to save these terms as a PDF. The page prints without the menu.

We may change these terms for the future, for example when the service or the law changes. If a change matters to you, we email you at least 30 days before it applies. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then, and you get back the months you paid for after that date. The date at the top shows the last change.
